in Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Mary K. "Kathy" (Kravatz) McQuiston.
Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late William R. and Olga M. (Bicci) McQuiston.
He was an elevator mechanic for Schindler Elevator.
He was a member of Local Union 84 International Union of Elevator Constructors and a member of the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps for 17 years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kimberly A., wife of Gary M. Border, Reading, and a son, Wade A. McQuiston, Reading.
There are also grandchildren, Peter J. and Alexis V. Border.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held in Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, North 16th & Rockland streets, Hampden Heights, on Monday at 2 p.m. Kevin M. Bean, Certified Celebrant, will officiate. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
