Man Dies In Illinois
MONTICELLO, ind., July 21-
Thomas A. Spencer, 81, a pioneer
White county resident, passed
away at 4:30 o'clock Sunday after
noon at Sheldon, Ill. where he had
made his home for the past sev-
eral years.
Born in White county on June
10, 1869, he was the son of George
and Eliza Bunnell Spencer. He was
united in marriage to Eliza Kenton
in 1888 and she preceded him
in death. On December 12. 1909,
he was married to Luella Tevis at
Monon. He was a member of the
Milroy Baptist church, and the
Masonic lodge of Monon.
Surviving besides the widow are
five children: Vance, Myron, and
Helen, all of Denver, Col., Mrs.
Ethel Moore, of Kentland, and
Thomas Spencer, of Kentland.
Funeral services will he held at
10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the
Prevo funeral home with Rev.
Herman Dirks officiating. Burial
will be made in the Riverview
cemetery. The body is at the funeral
home where friends may call.
