COLUMBUS~~~~ Sallie Mae Martin Orr, 82, died Dec. 20, 2010. Services are Monday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Faith Center.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Lee-Sykes Chapel in Columbus.
Mrs. Orr was born May 26, 1928, in Lowndes County to the late Thomas and Mariah Martin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford L. Orr; brothers, Robert and Roosevelt Martin; daughters, Sally Harris and Mildred Weathersby; and one grandson. She is survived by her children, Floria Mitchell, Earnestine Orr, Annie McNeely, all of Columbus; Sanford Orr of Hattiesburg; sisters, Rosie Lee Smith, Lillie Richardson, Bobbie Robinson, all of Columbus, Mattie Giles of Holland, Ohio; brothers, Thomas Martin Jr., R.W. Martin, both of Columbus; Joe Louis Martin, Cornelius Martin, both of Edinburg, Texas, Bennie Martin of Joliet, Ill.
