O. K. Cummings, 63, 1126 Neill Dr., died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home after an illness of a year.
Mr. Cummings was assistant supervisor of the Fort Benning Post Exchange.
He had lived here for 40 years, coming here from Louisiana. He was born in Bryceland, La., Aug. 9, 1895.
He was a veteran of World War I and was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lydia Cummings; four daughters (names of two living withheld for privacy), Mrs. Betty Stewart and Mrs. June Stewart, both of Memphis, Tenn.; four brothers, Lonnie Cummings, Gibsland, La., T. W. Cummings, Roby, Tex., O. J. & John Cummings, both of Bryceland, La.; three sisters, Mrs. D. N. Collinsworth, Minden, La, Mrs. M. S. McCain, Shreveport, La., and Mrs. B. N. Johnson, Logansport; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Britton and Dobbs of Columbus will announce arrangements.
