Mrs. Lewis was born May 21, 1900 at Lewis Station, Mo. She and Daniel L. Lewis were married April 14, 1920 at Wilburton. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1963. A son, Clifford Lewis, also preceded her in death in 1952. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wilburton and the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion. She passed away at McAlester Regional Hospital, McAlester, OK, Monday, March 17, 1986. She is survived by a son, Bill L. Lewis of Wetumka; two daughters, Mary Claire Wilson and Bonnie June Clawson, both of Wilburton; a sister, Maude Harris of Sylvia, Kas.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Chapel, Wilburton, with REv. Bill Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at Wilburton City cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home, Wilburton. Pallbearers will be D. H. Jefferey, Jack Bohreer, Joe Conley, DeRoy Forwdson, Kensel Tucker and John Sokolosky. Honoraries: Bill Dollins, Wayne Russell, Kelley DeBusk, John Otterson Jr., Bill Winn, Jim Kittrell, Lee Monroe and Tony Sonagerra.
