Richard J. Knobloch, 88, of Lowville, formerly of Jordan, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loving family. Born in the town of Van Buren, Richard lived in Jordan for several years before moving to the Watertown area. A 1941 graduate of Jordan High School, Richard served in the Navy from 1942 to 1946. He was employed at Conrail for several years before retiring in 1976 due to a disability. He was an avid photographer who had several photos published in the Syracuse newspapers. Richard loved the outdoors and fishing. He was a member of Christ Church, Jordan. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Ruth Cooper Knobloch; brother, Bernard; and sister, Anita Ashby. Surviving are two sons, Terry of Warners and Richard F. of Oswego; a daughter, Elizabeth (Ann) Creighton of Lorraine, NY; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rte. 5), Elbridge, with the Rev. Terry Fenton officiating. Spring burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends are invited to call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, prior to the services.

Graveside service for Richard J. Knobloch, 88, of Lowville, formerly of Jordan, will be 11 a.m. Friday in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. The Bush Funeral Home of Elbridge has charge of arrangements.
