WILSON I. PYLE

Wilson I. Pyle, 94, Rockwood RD 3, died Jan. 10, 1982, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 29, 1887, in Scullton, son of the late Romanus and Lucinda (Pletcher) Price. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel in 1978; and four sisters. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Elwood (Mary) O'Brien, Somerset RD 1; Mrs. Bertha Miller, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Floyd (Ruby) Resh, New Eagle; Edna Pyle, Rockwood; Mrs. Martha Armstrong, Somerset; John R., Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Roger (Lena) Hillegas, Schellsburg; Mrs. Robert (Nellie) Miller, Mill Run; 32 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren. He was a retired farmer by occupation. Friends were received at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services were conducted with the Rev. John Hodge officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
