Graveside service for Addie Morrison Goode, 89, of Fayetteville, Tenn, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Decatur City Cemetery with Rev. Ray McCulloch and the Rev. Keith Andrews officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Goode died Sunday, July 28, 1996, at Donaldson Health Care in Fayetteville. She was born December 19, 1906, in Oliver to Z.K. and Minnie Allen Goode. She attended Florence State College and Athens College, taught in the Morgan County school system and was employed at Decatur Iron and Steel Co. A former Decatur resident, Ms. Goode was a lifetime member of First Christian Church. Her niece, Sarah Carter, was her caretaker for years.
She is survived by one sister, Louise Humphrey of Nashville.
