Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial at Dilworth Church of God Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Lillie Vanderver; three brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his sisters, Betty J. Bryson and her husband, Dalton of Dora, Jeri Brown of Lafayette, Ind., and Alice Pruitt Gill and her husband, Charles of Quinton; brothers, Loyd T. Vanderver of Sayre, Charles E. Vanderver and his wife, Joyce of Lawron, Okla., Archie D. Vanderver of Murray, Ky., and Floyd M. Vanderver Jr. of Jasper; 35 nieces and nephews; and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
