William G. Blair, 62, retired Pennsylvania Railroad freight conductor, died at his home, 504 Graham Street, Tuesday. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maye T. Blair; a daughter, Mrs. Carl C. Gingrich; two grandchildren Carl Gingrich, Jr. and Blair H. Gingrich.
He had 42 years of service, retiring March, 1941. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, No. 42; Pennsylvania Railroad Retired Men's Association; and the Tangascootac Tribe 215, Order of Red Men of Christiana.
Services will be atthe Charles C. Baker Funeral Home, Third and Maclay Streets, Friday, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Newell C. Grimes, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Thomas S. May, First United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday after 7 p.m.
