Funeral services for William Bryan, son of Fred and Martha Grosvenor, were conducted Friday afternoon.

Mr. Grosvenor was born September 16, 1895, and he was married to Nettie Bradley March 29, 1919. Two children were born to this union, Ruby Nell Decker of Jackson, Mo., and Bernice Grosvenor of Herrin. He married Lauretta Grovewald on June 1, 1929, and four children were born to this union, Roxie, Jimmie, Herbert and Mary Lou.

About sixteen years ago he was baptized in the Pentecost church at Logan Hollow.

Mr. Grosvenor died in the South East Missouri hospital at Cape Girardeau, Mo., after an illness of five days after an operation for appendicitis. The Grosvenors resided in Derring, Missouri.

Besides the wife and children, he is survived by his father and the following brothers and sisters, Anna Emert, Cora, Ill., Stella Claussen, Jacob, Lorene Jarrett, Jacob, Howard of Murphysboro and Dan of Jacob, Larry, John and Elmer, of East St. Louis and a host of other relatives and friends.
