Born in Briton Ferry, Wales, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Aurelius. He came to the U. S. with his parents in 1881.
Survived by his wife Lilliam M.; son Frank; daughters Mrs. Joel Rogers, Mrs. James Coddington, and Mildred and Lois Aurelius; sisters Mrs. Axel T. Smith and Mrs. William Wood; brothers Thomas and Joseph Aurelius; eight grandchildren.
