Louis R. Saul was born October 5, 1915 in Degognia Township, Jackson County, to Fount A. and Ida May O'Daniel Saul. He leaves a brother, Murray Saul, of Sepulveda, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He married Elda L. Kessel on September 5, 1942 in Cape Girardeau. She survives.
Mr. Saul was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Shiloh Hill Lodge 695, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Cammpbell Hill, and the Scottish Rites Bodies of the Valley of Southern Illinois, Belleville.
Louis Saul died at the age of 70 in his home near Rockwood.
