Ted T. Colley, 82, Blue Springs, MO, died Sunday, December 31, 2000, at St. Mary's Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 4, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The family requests contributions to Cancer Action. Mr. Colley was born May 6, 1918, in Farmington, KY, and had lived in Independence for 60 years before moving to Blue Springs two years ago. He had been co-owner of Minors Market for 30 years with his brother-in-law, Arthur Cordes. He had been a member of First Presbyterian Church of Independence.
