JAMES E. (Jim) ADAMS, 78, of Houston, died Wednesday, April 10, 2002. He was born September 15, 1923 in Hearne, Texas. Jim was a member of Beaumont Place Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy During World War II on the USS New Jersey and retired from Arco Chemical Lyondell Plant. Jim is survived by his wife, Lois Adams; Daughter, Kathy Sue Adams Wheeler; Sons, James S. Adams and wife Debra, Paul W. Adams and wife Laurie, Step-Son's Don E. Mustain and Wife Joyce and Jerry L. Mustain and wife Lynda; Brother Ross A. (Jack) Adams; Twenty One Grandchildren, Fourteen Great Grandchildren, Ten Great Great Grandchildren and Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 13, 2002 in The Chapel of Howard-Glendale Funeral Home, 1015 Federal Road, Rev. Bobby Powell officiated. Interment followed in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Visitation was on Friday, April 12, 2002.
