Thomas Allen Found Hanged
Thomas S. Allen, 67, a retired rail road man was found hanged in his home located at the rear of the lot at 1037 South Box Elder early Wednesday morning.
The body was discovered by neighbors who became concerned after not seeing the man about Tuesday.
A note was found outside the bathroom door. It read, "Call Bustard."
Mr. Allen was reported to be in poor health for several years.
Born in Albia, Ia., Mr. Allen had been a resident of Casper since 1921. He had been employed until his retirement by the Chicago & North Western Railway Co. His mother preceded him in death in Casper in 1953, and a brother in 1948. He is survived by a brother, Wiley, of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Bustard Funeral Home.
