Alvin Deason was born in Clinton, AR to James Monroe and Martha Elizabeth Deason. In 1925 he married Wilma Stroud and they moved to the Anadarko area. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Verden Church of Christ. The Deasons moved to Verden in 1962.
