Barlow Hall Anderson, 86, of Tompkinsville, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.
He was born November 29, 1927 in Monroe County, KY to the late Abraham Anderson and Mattie Biggerstaff Anderson. He was a member of Berea Church of Christ, a construction worker and a farmer.
He is survived by two sons: Michael Anderson and Leroy Anderson and wife Sherrie all of Indianapolis, IN, one step son: Tommy Asher and wife Betty of Greenwood, IN, three daughters: Regina Kanty and husband Mike of Indianapolis, IN, Glenda Parfitt and husband Jerry of Atlanta, GA Susie Anderson of Indianapolis, IN, two sisters: Glenda Anderson Boone of Celina, TN, Brenda Welch and husband Tommy of Lebanon, TN, one brother: Joe Anderson and wife Wilma of Tompkinsville, fourteen grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Walter Anderson, John Allen Anderson, one son: Ricky Anderson and Barlow Anderson, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 30 at 2:00 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Bailey Cemetery at Hestand.
Visitation will be after 5:00 PM on Tuesday and after 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville.
Memorials are suggested to the Bailey Cemetery.
