Jesse Wayne "Red" Klutts, age 81 of Mesquite, TX, passed away December 28, 2010. He was born June 30, 1929, in Rockwall County, TX, to Jesse Right and Vera Bell (Vaughn) Klutts. Jesse was a member of La Prada Drive Church of Christ. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Jesse was married to Betty Baxter on October 27, 1951, and they shared a wonderful life together. He was devoted to his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Jesse is survived by his wife: Betty Klutts of Mesquite, TX; daughter: Susan Klutts of Garland, TX; brother: Sammy Klutts of Greenville, TX; grandchildren: Curtis Klutts and Jennifer Pearson of Rockwall, TX, and Chris Klutts of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren: Sky Klutts, Rian and Rafe Pearson. He was preceded in death by son Kenton Klutts and sister Linda Gene McDonald.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am Friday, December 31, 2010, at La Prada Drive Church of Christ with Gerald Hanley officiating. Interment will be 12:45pm at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association
