Earl W. Rowe, 49, died suddenly Tuesday morning at his home in Dickerson.
Surviving are his widow, [Edrie] Rowe, three step-children, Mrs. Alice Jenkins; Earl Vance, Carterett, N.J.; and Mrs. Guida Allen, Frederick; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Jenkins, Dickerson; Mrs. Edith Smith, Grundy, Va.; and Miss Virginia Rowe, Hayside, Va. and four brothers, [Stuart] Rowe, Dickerson; John Rowe, Charlottesville; Thomas Rowe, Gordon, W.Va.; and Jess Rowe with U.S. Army in Massachusetts.
Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
NOTE: Cynthia (Justus) Justus, the sister of Birchie (Justus) Rowe - wife of Earl's brother, Stuart Rowe - is buried at Monocacy Cemetery.
