Mr. Woodis was a native of Barton and a member of the Baptist church.
He is survived by his sons, Bob Woodis, of Muscle Shoals, Ronnie Woodis, of Leeds, Ala., Doug Woodis, of Cherokee, Terry Woodis, of Muscle Shoals, and Gil Woodis, of Brandon, Miss.; daughter, Rebecca Stainback, of Tuscumbia; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
We are eternally grateful to Hospice of Tennessee Valley for the care they provided for our dad. Special thanks to April Daniel, Molly Jones, Courtney Abston, Kay Holt, Teresa Poole, John Davis and special friend, Laura Brandon.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
