A SUDDEN DEATH
Gottlieb Schneider, and Old Resident of Marshall, Dies of Heart Disease
---Gottlieb Schneider, of 211 Crary st., an old resident of this city, died suddenly about 10:30 Wednesday morning at his residence. Mr. Schneider arose this morning feeling as well as usual, and built the fires. After breakfast he came up town and made some purchases, and enroute home he stopped at his daughter's, Mrs. Ernest Noneman of Monroe street. Arriving at home he assisted a farmer in unloading two cords of wood. He then stepped into the house to get some money, and while his wife was after it he sat down in a chair and dropped over dead. Dr. Houston was called and decided that heart disease was the cause of the death.
---Mr. Schneider was about 69 years old and lived in this city many years. He was a respected citizen, and his death is a shock to his many friends, and a severe blow to his family who have the sympathy of the entire community. He was a veteran of the civil war and a member of C. Colegrove Post G.A.R. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Misses Amelia and Lena and Mrs. Ernest Noneman, and two sons, John and Henry. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 from the house and 2 o'clock at the German Lutheran church, Rev. C.H. Heidenrich officiating. Burial in Oakridge.
