Marvin Stephenson married Grace Lou Perkins in Greenville,Texas on June 6,1936. Grace Perkins was the daughter of John Fletcher Perkins and Effie Hollon Shoemake Perkins of Commerce,Texas.
Shortly after the marriage,Marvin William Stephenson found employment with the Cotton Belt Railroad in Commerce.
On June 13,1944,their first son,Larry William Stephenson, was born. Two years later their son Tommy Stephenson was born on May 28,1946.
In 1976,Marvin William Stephenson retired from the Cotton Belt Railroad, and he and his wife moved to Quitman,Texas.
On March 13,1998,Marvin William Stephenson passed away at the Quitman Hospital.
