Lester T. McCoy, 77, of New Russia, New York, died Tuesday, June 15, 1982, in the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, New York, after a long illness.
He was born in Warrensburg, New York in 1904. He was a carpenter in the North Country and moved to New Russia in 1952.
Survivors included his wife, Mary of New Russia; five sons; two daughters; two brothers; 51 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 17, 1982, at 1 p.m. at the Edward L. Kelly funeral home in Schroon Lake, New York. Burial was in the Schroon Lake Community Cemetery.
