Ina Cartwright, 90, of Texas City, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010, at Mainland Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, January 16, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, January 15, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cartwright was born April 18, 1919 in Milam County, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of the Mainland Ceramic Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elza Davis Cartwright Jr.

Survivors include her son Roy Cartwright and wife Joyce of Abrams, Wisconsin; daughter Sandy Kirschner and husband Gary of Texas City; brothers Frank Cummings and wife Grace, Roy Cummings, and Bob Cummings; sister Ida Hickman; grandchildren: Ray Bowling, Sharon Schultz, James Bowling, R. L. Cartwright, Sara Cartwright, Zettie Kirschner, and Zachary Kirschner; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to College View Baptist Church, 8622 Monticello, Texas City, TX 77591.
