Lucille Ann Myers, 60, Grain Valley, Mo. passed away in the comfort of her home on Oct. 25, 2010.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday Oct. 29, 2010, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, Mo.; interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 3599 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, Kan. 66103.

Lucille was born June 25, 1950, in Independence, and graduated from Raytown South High School. She was a devoted bus driver for many years and drove for the Grain Valley School District until her retirement in 2005. She had a big heart and loved children, animals, dancing and fishing.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Teresa (Saladino) and Carl Bankston and an infant brother, Frankie.

Lucille is survived by daughters Stacy Knowles and Denna Kilgore, both of Blue Springs, Mo.; son Bradley Myers and wife Stephanie, Grain Valley, Mo.; brother Frank Bankston and wife Paula; Uncle Vincent Saladino (who was like a brother)and wife Sharon, all of Oak Grove, Mo.; grandchildren Samantha Knowles, Taylor Kilgore, Hayden Squires and Brayden Myers.
