CARLSBAD--Services for Frances O. "Panchita" Dominguez, 43, of North Howard Street, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at San Jose Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery.
Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. today at San Jose Catholic Church.
Ms. Dominguez died Saturday, Dec. 13, 1997, at a friend's home.
Denton-Funchess Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born on Dec. 29, 1953, to Frank Arreola and Josie Ontiveras Dominguez in Carlsbad where she grew up.
Ms. Dominguez played softball as a member of the Holiday Inn Jets. She was a member of San Jose Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include her parents, Frank and Josie Dominguez of Carlsbad; brother Frank "Pinko Dominguez of Carlsbad; and grandmother, Pilar Campos of Carlsbad.
Pallbearers are Frank Fuentes, Manuel Hernandez, Noel Munoz, Elias D. Osorio, Michael D. Rodriguez and Manuel "Memo" Rubio.
Honorary pallbearers are the rest of her uncles, aunts and cousins.
