Colleen Marie Thomson, 42, of Edinburgh died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, at her home.

Mrs. Thomson had been a physical therapist at Columbus Regional Hospital for eight years and formerly worked at Methodist Hospital and RHI in Indianapolis.

A member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, she was a graduate of Notre Dame University and earned a master's degree at the University of Indianapolis.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with the Revs. Clem Davis and Joseph McNally officiating. Calling will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed & Jewell Chapel on 25th Street. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery near Edinburgh.

Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Bartholomew County Humane Society or Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Mrs. Thomson was born in Danville, Ill., May 30, 1962, the daughter of Francis "Skip" and Jane Gibbons Smith. She married Mark W. Thomson Oct. 8, 1994, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Survivors include her husband; her parents, of Noblesville; brothers, Frank Smith of Noblesville and Ryan Smith of Moab, Utah; and sisters, Shelia Formisani of Noblesville and Maureen Thomison of Cicero.

The funeral for Colleen Marie Thomson, 42, of Edinburgh was Monday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with the Revs. Clem Davis and Joseph McNally officiating. Barb Reed and Maggie Klee were readers, Nancy Mayo-Miller and Lori Harter gave the prayers of the faithful, Patrick and Mary Thomison and Matthew and Holly Martin presented gifts, Claire Thomison was pianist, Marilyn Welker was soloist and Camilla Gehring was soloist and organist.

Rosary was recited Sunday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed & Jewell Chapel.

Burial was at Old Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ollie, Brian and Kevin Smith, Jim Gibbons, Mike Martin and Burnett Seabrook.
