Flossie Bell Cannon Elliott, 82, widow of Matthew Allen Elliott, died Tuesday, January 16, 1979, at Augusta, Ga.
Mrs. Elliott was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of Cornelius Cannon and Elizabeth Ray Cannon. She had lived most of her life in Andrews and had recently moved to Augusta where she attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph Elliott of North Charleston, D. W. Elliott of Georgetown, and Harley Elliott of Springfield, Ga.; five daughters, Nonie E. Elliott of Georgetown, Dorothy E. Ethridge of Andrews, Bertie E. Marshall and Annie Laurie E. Cumbee, both of Augusta, and Flossie Mae E. Helma of Clio; 47 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Burial, directed by Mayer Funeral Home, was Thursday, January 18, 1979, in Piney Forest Cemetery.
