Not sure why her headstone reads 1892 for the year of birth and why her Oregon Death Record states that her age was 67 at the time of death, 20 Aug 1961. Subtracting 67 from 1961 gives us a time of birth of sometime between 21 Aug 1893 and 20 Aug 1894. Not sure which is incorrect, her headstone or the Oregon Death Record – I have seen mistakes made on both. I have left the 1892 date of birth for now, but feel her true date of birth is 25 Aug 1893.
