Curtis Wayne Driskill, 58, of Rockwood, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at home.
A member of New Hope Baptist Church, he was employed with the Roane County Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Artimus Driskill and Julia Florence Vineyard Driskill; a sister, Wanda Sue Driskill; and a brother, Richard Lee Driskill.
Survivors include three sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty Woody and June Driskill, both of Nashville, and Nancy and Johnny Smith, Rockwood; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Lewis "Bud" Driskill, Rockwood, and Claude and Jeepie Driskill, Murfreesboro; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, in Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Funeral service followed in the chapel, with the Rev. Wayne Nelson officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
