Mr. Carl Edward McCormick, 73, of Bull Road, Colfax, died Thursday, May 6, 2004, at Wesley Long Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service will be conducted 2p.m. today at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory by the Rev. Floyd Crouch and the Rev. Terry McKoin. Carl was born July 3, 1930, in Guilford Co. to the late Walter Cleveland and Willie Blanche Knighton McCormick. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church in Greensboro and a retiree of Guilford Co. Public School System. Surviving are his wife, Clara Mae Morgan McCormick two daughters, Linda Diane Miller of Waterloo, Iowa, Cynthia Lynn Bolejack of Colfax; three sons, Gary Edward Mccormick of Colfax, Gerald Lee Mccormick and Charles Everett Mccormick both of Kernersville; two brothers Richard McCormick and Melvin McCormick both of Greensboro; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
