SON DIES - PARENT ILL
Funeral of J.E. Cowles to be held at Fourth Ward House Tomorrow.

Ogden, Nov 22 - The funeral of J.E. Cowles of Blackfoot, Idaho, who died in this city yesterday, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Fourth ward meeting house. Bishop E. A. Olson will preside and burial will be in the city cemetery.
Mr. Cowles died at the home of his father. W. H. Cowles, 2016 Quincy Avenue, from liver trouble. He was engaged in the moving picture business at Blackfoot, but came to Ogden two months ago to visit his brother, Prof. Le Roy Cowles of Weber academy, and his parents. It was during the visit that he was taken ill. He is survived by a widow and five children. When told of his son’s sudden death today, the father was prostrated and there are grave fears that he will not recover.
