Husband of Ethel Mae Prouty Castelli, Father of Linda, Gene & Marianne, Grandfather & Great Grandfather.

Served in the US Army during WWII as a Tank Driver with the 48th Tank Battalion, 645th Tank Destroyer Battalion and 899th Tank Destroyer Battalion in the European Theater of Operation in combat zones.

To me he was Uncle Sam, he was a wonderful man proud of his Italian heritage with a gentleness about him that would just put you at ease. He was loved and is very missed.

Died at home with his loving wife at his side from complications of Parkinson's Disease
