Rupe will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Gerald is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Welch and his uncles, Darrell, Robert and Kenny Harmon. He is survived by his grandmother, Lena Rico; son, Justin Rupe; step-father, Bobby Welch; sister, Breann Welch as well as numerous other family members and friends. Anybody who knew Gerald will truly say they felt touched by an angel. If you needed help then have no fear, Gerald was here. He was a great brother, father, son, grandson and husband and most of all a great friend.
