Anna A. Stamm, 77, Stouchsburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, after she was struck by a vehicle on the Conrad Weiser Parkway (Route 422), Marion Township. Born in Marion Township on April 1, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Claude F. and Susan (Zellers) Stamm.

Anna worked on the family farm in Marion Township for many years and enjoyed working for 31 years at Risser's Family Restaurant, Stouchsburg. She was a member of St. John's Church, Mt. Aetna, and a member of the Marion Grange. Known for her great sense of humor, she enjoyed children, playing cards, bingo, and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her sisters, Mildred, wife of Elam Fry, Womelsdorf; and Viola Daub, Myerstown; brother, Lester, husband of May Stamm, Jonestown; and brother-in-law, Harold Eisenhauer, Myerstown. She was a mother to all of her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Edna Umbenhauer, Margaret A. Troutman, Mary M. Eisenhauer; and brothers, William C. Stamm, Raymond R. Stamm, Allen J. Stamm and Claude F. Stamm Jr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at 9 a.m. Interment will be at St. John's Church Cemetery, Mt. Aetna.
