Register of Communicants, Ebenezer Presbyterian Church: "Mrs. Jane Simril, Died April 6th 1866"
(Photostat copy of "The Church Register of the Presbyterian Church of Ebenezer" in local history section, York County Library, Rock Hill, S.C.)
There does not appear to be an obituary for Jane Simril in The Yorkville Enquirer newspaper. Perhaps it appeared in an issue of the paper that has not survived to be microfilmed. The April 19, 1866 issue appears to be lost. See "Chronicling America" website for filmed issues of this paper.
