POLSON-Funeral services for former Plains resident Margaret Hill, 85, of Dayton, Mont., were held Monday, May 1, at Mosley-Shrider Funeral Home in Polson. Burial followed in Lakeview Cemetery at Polson.
Mrs. Hill died Thursday, April 27, 1995, of natural causes at St. Joseph Hospital in Polson.
She was born Feb. 5, 1910, at Missoula to John Kim and Ella Williamson. Her childhood years were spent in the Darby area.
Margaret and Lloyd "Babe" Hill were married Oct. 19, 1929, at Butte. They operated the Sally Ann Bakeries in Plains and Hot Springs during the 1930s, before moving to California in the early 1940s. They retired at Dayton in 1965.
Mrs. Hill attended the Presbyterian Church in Dayton. She was active in Chief Cliff Homemakers and the Ladies Aid.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd "Babe" in 1993; her parents, John and Ella Williamson; and two brothers, Archie and Herbert Williamson.
Survivors include a son, Edmund Hill and wife, Susan, of Dayton; a brother, George Williamson, Clarkston, Wash.; a grandson, Darren Hill, Dayton; two granddaughters, Sally Ann Hill, Dayton, and Glenda Halbert, Arlington, Wash.; and five great-grandchildren.
