Dale Hiet Ackerman, 26, died at a Salt Lake hospital Dec. 9 following a long illness.
Mr. Ackerman was an employee of Newspaper Agency Corp. Circulation Department at the time of his death. He was a former employee of the Singer Co.
He was born March 29, 1942, in Salt Lake City to Hiet Lorenzo and Afton Brown Ackerman. He married Linda Norris, Feb. 18, 1961, in Salt Lake City. The marriage later was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Mr. Ackerman was a member of the Granite Park LDS Ward and was responsible for printing the Granite Ward Bulletin.
He is survived by his wife; sons, daughter; David, Douglas and Darla all of Salt Lake City; mother, brothers, Mark and Brent; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brown, all Salt Lake City.
