Wm. Oliver, 307 Madison St., died Sunday at Starke Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Greenup County, KY, December 25, 1888. He had lived here for 23 years, coming from Ashland, KY. Married Aug. 29, 1931 at Jackson, KY, to Margaret Kilburn. Survived by his wife and 3 sons John, George, and Willie of Medaryville, IN; 1 adopted son, Lance, at home; 2 daughters Mrs. Robert Fields of North Judson, Mrs. Daniel Bradley of Knox; 4 stepsons Andrew, Dan, and Robert Fields of North Judson and Henry Fields of Knox; 3 stepdaughters Mrs. Mary Allen, Mrs. Myrtle Begley of North Judson, and Mrs. James Hicks of Evansville, IN. Friends called Monday evening at the Harry Price Funeral Home and he was taken to the Baptist church on state road 10 Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be Wed. 1 p.m. with Rev. A.B. Mead officiating. Burial Crown Hill Cemetery.
