He was self-employed as a fruit farmer, retiring after several years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 105 and St. Peter's Lutheran Church in North East.
Survivors include his wife, Louvina G. Specht Schultz, whom he married Jan. 12, 1941; a son, Robert O. Schultz and his wife, Susan, of Evansville, Ind.; a brother, Harold Schultz and his wife, Pauline, of Corbin, Ky.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at North East Cemetery.
