Mr. King was a lifelong area resident. He was a diesel mechanic for C.F. Motor Freight. He was a member of Local 778 of the Machinists Union. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He attended the New Life Assembly of God Church, Oak Grove. Survivors include his wife, Lillian K. King of the home; a son, James Michael King, Lewisburg, Ohio; three daughters, Angela Kamakeeaima, Strafford, Mo., and Lori Elizabeth King and Martha Christine King of the home; his mother, Loretto Dagg, Green Valley, Ariz.; two brothers, Jeff W. King, Independence, and William V. King, Harrisonville; and three grandchildren.
