Robert was born in St. Clair on Sept. 22, 1929, a son of the late Thomas R. and Catherine (Koffman) Pinkasavage. He was also predeceased by his stepfather, Forrest Price.
He was the widower of Charlotte A. (Haupt) Pinkasavage. She died April 9, 2005.
He was employed as a superintendent at Birdsboro Corp., Birdsboro, and retired from Reading Sheet Metal in 1992.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Pinkasavage graduated from Reading Catholic High School in 1947.
He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
His first and foremost love was his wife, children and especially his grandchildren. Bob's other passions included the family summer beach vacations, PSU bus trips, golf, Tuesday Night Movie Club and Friday Lunch Bunch.
Robert is survived by a daughter, Kathy A. Brady, Cumru Township; and three sons: Thomas R. Pinkasavage, Cumru Township; Michael J. Pinkasavage, Brecknock Township; and Mark Pinkasavage, Muhlenberg Township.
Robert is also survived by a sister, Catherine Lesagonicz, Reading.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Robert was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Stremba.
Services at the Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1501 N. 11th St., Reading, will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 7. Friends are invited to call Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
