Mary Virginia Pritchard Parker "Mamie" was the third of ten children born to Harriet A. E. Sparkman and Robert S Pritchard and the older of only two daughters born to the couple.
She was born in Columbia Co FL .and died in Jacksonville. She married Eustace Parker on June 19, 1892 according to an entry in the Pritchard family Bible. It was just three years after their marriage that she and Eustace took on the responsibility of her younger siblings after the death of their mother. She had only one child, a daughter, Florence. Sometime between 1899 and 1900, her husband built them a new larger home where she also cared for her father who moved into the home with them. There she cared for him until her death which came 5 months before his. She was 40 years and 21 days old
