Margaret Oliver, 88, of Lavaca died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, in her home. She was born June 24, 1913, in Dyer. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Free Will Baptist Church in Central City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Oliver and two daughters, Peggy Spence and Lilly Oliver.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today in Central Free Will Baptist Church in Central City with burial at Mayberry Cemetery in Central City under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca.
She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Steele Smith and Ina Chronister, both of Lavaca; a brother, Sam Wilson Dougan of Leavenworth, Kan.; six grandchildren, Susan Randolph, Beth Chronister, Cindy White, Danny Steele, Johnny Spence and Vicki Woods; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
