Miriam Elizabeth (Breon) Thiessen, 88, passed away April 25, 2002.
She was born on June 10, 1913 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Survived by daughters, Joanne (Dale) Adams and Ginny Shouse; six grandsons, Jeff Leonard, Mark (Marti) Leonard, Greg (Gail) Leonard, Brian Leonard, and their father, Russ Leonard, Curtis Berry, Phillip (Zina) Berry, five great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; nephews, nieces, and a variety of granddogs.
She graduated from The Art Institute of Chicago in 1934. Her delightful sense of humor and uniqueness will be treasured and greatly missed.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard.
Her ashes will be placed near his in the Rose Garden at All Saints Episcopal Church in Phoenix. Cremation, private services.
