DEATH SUMMONS MRS ATCHESON
Mrs. Hazel M Atcheson, 56, wife of J.Thomas Atcheson, 854 Durbin drive, died at 11 p.m. Thursday in the Avalon sanatorium at Mt Vernon. She had been ill 18 months and had been in the sanatorium 15 months.
Born in Zanesville she had resided here all her life. She was the daughter of Alfred and Stella Leasure.
Surviving are her husband, father, who lives on Indiana street; six daughters, Mrs. Mabel Wright, Putnam avenue; Mrs May Butcher, Moxahala avenue; Mrs Stella Shaffer, Moorehead avenue; Mrs Margaret Reed, Pierce street; Misses Audrey and Marlene Atcheson, of the home; two sons, George Atcheson, Chandlersville, and William Atcheson, Thurman street; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs Ida Moore, Indiana street; two brothers, George Leasure, Hamline avenue, and Edward Leasure, Whiting, Indiana.
Funeral will be held from the Dean-Swope funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Rev E.T. Acord, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery. The body will be removed to the home of a daughter, Mrs Mary Butcher, 964 Moxahala avenue, early Saturday afternoon and returned to the funeral home Monday evening.
