Fred's biological father was Archibald Kennedy who died in a schooner accident somewhere off the coast of Maine. Fred's biological mother was Eunice Ellen Pettengill. After his father's death his mother married Asbury F. Libby.
His brother John Franklin Kennedy lived on Cliff Island for a time. After Archie died, the children were placed in various foster homes. We are unsure if Frank Clark Allen [and Abby W.
