Rupert W. Bybee, 88, died Friday, Oct. 21.
A native of Missouri, Bybee was a resident of Country Oak Care Center in Pomona for seven years. Previously, he was a resident of Fontana from 1987 to 1998. He was a machinist at Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach for 10 years.
Bybee is survived by one daughter, Sharon L. McArthur of Oregon, and one sister, Alberta Feaster of Fontana. Other survivors include three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Thursday, Oct. 27 at Stanley L. Dickey Mortuary, Fontana, with burial at Oakdale Memorial Park, Glendora. Dickey Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
