Weldon Lee Whitlock, 81, of Johnson City, passed away Monday (January 3, 2011) at the Lakebridge Health Care Center, Johnson City, after an extended illness.
Weldon was preceded in death by his parents, T.D. Whitlock and Pearl Shipley Whitlock; Brothers, Fred Whitlock and wife, Dorothy, Kenneth Whitlock and wife, Zaleen; and brother, Mack Whitlock.
He was retired from the United States Army after twenty years of service. Weldon was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Haldine Whitlock, Johnson City; brother, Kyle Whitlock and wife, Carol, Massillon, Ohio; sister in-law, Ethel Whitlock, Kingsport; and many nieces and nephews.
